Wore this comfortable and stunning dress to my daughter's Red Dress Gala for her sorority. It quite frankly looked more beautiful in the photos than how simple it first looked compared to a few others I also bought to try. But after going through the hassle last year of finding the perfect red dress (i stumbled onto this brand last year at Nordstrom), I decided to buy a few in my size directly from the website. This dress is even more gorgeous in real life! I’m 5’8 and the length is perfect with a moderately high heel (FYI I opted for sparkly, strappy gold heels/clutch/earrings and they look fabulous). I took other reviewers’ advice that the sizing runs a bit small, so I used my measurements and ordered based on my most generous curves. Going a size up meant it’s exactly right and doesn’t need a single alteration. Best of all, as an athletic, middle-aged woman with a “rectangle” body type, the scuba crepe fabric and the ruching and ruffles create a beautiful, feminine silhouette that feels glamorous, without being fussy. It’s comfortable too, and packs well for travel without wrinkling. 10/10.
