The Red Dress was for a special event. Received many compliments. The overall fit and quality was perfect. The process was great highly recommend finding your dress with Betsy and Adam.

Bought this in the Navy to go with my dress which while looking black in photos was actually a dark navy. It worked perfectly. I had to carefully cut out the tag - I wish they wouldn’t place a tag in a sheer shawl. But no snags or frays from cutting the tag and the shawl itself is gorgeous.

I ordered this dress in a petite 12 and it fit me perfectly. It was perfect for a formal wedding at Christmastime and I’m planning on wearing it again for an event in the spring. It’s a very flattering style. Felt amazing on the dance floor as it had a perfect amount of swing. It was comfortable all night! I don’t currently see it listed on the Petite sizing so maybe I was lucky to get it when I did. But I’m leaving my review for the same dress in the regular sizing.

Very beautiful dress

This dress looks like the photo and made very well. I bought a large. I’m 5’3 and 160 lbs. I had to get it altered to fit only because it was long on the length and definitely the arms. I was so happy with the dress I will be looking for a spring wedding. I’m going to later this next year.

I felt so beautiful wearing this dress! I was anxious but eager to purchase a formal gown for a recent event, as I usually stick with cocktail style dresses that are more suited to my height; I'd never purchased a dress in petite sizing. Using the size chart, I decided a size 0 would be best. Upon trying it on the first time, I wondered if I actually should have sized up as it felt so snug on my stomach! However, I believe my husband tied it a little too tight during that first try-on. On the night of the event, I had him tie it slightly looser than before and the dress fit me like a glove. In fact, had I sized up to a 2p, I believe it would have been too large in the chest. I loved the snug fit of the bodice and the flow of the skirt. The slit on the skirt was sexy yet not revealing. The blue color of the dress was rich and royal. I wore 5 inch heels and was able to walk and dance quite comfortably without the fabric bunching or tripping me. I couldn't have been more pleased with this incredible gown - I only wish it had been available in 0P in red! But I have no regrets with the blue color!

I poured over hundreds of dresses online for a destination wedding and zeroed in on this. Wasn’t sure about size but the 10 is ideal, the fabric is luxurious and drapes beautifully, the red is rich and just the right shade. I am excited to wear it. It will pack easily and looks so effortlessly elegant. I feel like I will have many styling options.

Fits true to size, comfortable and just the perfect length. I am 4' 11" and wearing 2.5-inch heels.

The pictures do this dress no justice! The colors are stunning! The fullness of the skirt and the fit of the bodice is perfection on my petite frame! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because even though it was a petite dress, it was still too long so I had to pay for alterations.

This dress was perfect for The 250th Marine Corp Ball! Received many compliments and looked great along side my husband. Had to go up in size to fit my 38DD chest to a 14. The scuba Crepe material makes this style very form fitting. I am normally a size 10. Purchased the 14 petite. 5’2.

Fit like a glove with so many compliments. A little long even though I’m 5’7” and in 3” heels. But again, perfect. Only complaint which totally devastated me was that my clutch caused it to pill around my hip area and basically ruined my dress before I even left my house. I’m not sure if it’s a material issue.

I absolutely loved everything about this dress.I’m 5’3”” & 120# & the 4 petite fit perfectly.The silhouette was so flattering,the slip comfy & I loved the sleeve cuffs & neckline.It pained me to return it but the navy was so close to black that as the mother of the groom I feared wearing it for a restaurant venue as the lighting might be dim.I would not hesitate to repurchase this for a formal event.B & A seems like a solid,quality company.The dress came very well packaged on a hanger & with a plastic cover.I purchased the return insurance & dropped it off @ UPS.Waiting for a refund.

I thought this dress might be too sparkly, but once it is in, it’s great! Very comfortable and flattering. Love that I can order petite!

Stays in place and doesn’t detract from your outfit like other wraps can.

I wore this dress in dark green to my son’s wedding last week and I have never gotten so many compliments. It fit perfectly and I felt really confident and comfortable. I hope to wear it again someday.

This dress was gorgeous on. I'm tall (almost 5'8'') so I was especially appreciative of the mermaid tail as it provided the perfect length for me. Fits like a glove so I purchased 1 size up...went with a 12 instead of a 10.

After reading the other reviews, I figured this dress would suit me nicely. My body shape is an inverted triangle. I have very broad shoulders, wear a D cup, and have no butt. (bust-41”, waist-30.5”, hips-37”). I’m 5’-5” tall and I ordered the 12P. Even with 4” heels, the length was perfect!! Everything about the dress was perfect for my body type. I have a long torso and this dress is definitely made for a long torso. The other reviewers mentioned it was a little big on top; like loose in the armpits. I don’t disagree, but it was just what I needed. I took the dress to my seamstress and she told me that it fit perfectly and did not need any alterations. Previously, I had never worn a petite sized dress. I did wear a strapless bra (for my own security), but it was 50-50 either way. The dress has built-in cups. Also, I never leave reviews, but I appreciated the other reviewers, as it’s so hard to buy anything online (without getting to try it on first).

When I ordered this dress I was nervous as I normally cant wear petites. I'm short in the torso with extremely long legs and arms. To my surprise, it fit perfectly and I appreciated the built in cups. It's made well with a back hidden zipper and lovely fabric. Coming from the fashion industry, this was a find! Best of all, the price is extremely reasonable!

I felt very beautiful in this dress, and it was quite flattering. I got so many compliments and may have sold some Betsy and Adam dresses to my friends whose children are also getting married! It's a slimming design and a gorgeous color (I got the Pine). Beware the slit goes high so any shapewear you get needs to have a short leg (or you can hike it up on the left side like I did. I am 6' feet tall and the length was still perfect with my 4 inch heels (the dress train was still slightly touching the ground!) but if you aren't as tall you'll likely need to get it shortened. All in all a perfect dress for me or any of you other Rebecca Walton, Rubenesque size ladies. I am usually a 14 and did fit into the 14, but it was very snug especially around my armpits. I chose to go with a more comfortable fit in the 16.

I love this dress! It fits perfectly and was delivered in 3 days. I did the bridal shop routine and couldn’t find anything I liked. The dresses were very matronly and expensive. I can’t wait to wear this at my daughter’s wedding!

The dress is a stunning red. I wished the satin twist draping was heavier and longer. We will need to get it altered at the chest for a more snug fit.
