Missy and Petite styles are designed for different proportions. Petite sizes are made for women around 5'5" and under, with adjusted torso, waist, and hem lengths to create a balanced fit without alterations. Missy sizes are proportioned for an average height (typically 5'5"–5'9"+) with longer lengths throughout the body.
If your measurements fall between two sizes, we generally recommend ordering the larger size. Slight adjustments can always be made by a tailor, but a dress that’s too small will be difficult to alter comfortably.
